This reminded me of a convo I was having in the car yesterday with a couple of my close friends last night, (shouts to Billa and Jay Nature). Toronto is in an amazing position right now musically. We all know the sudden eruption of Toronto's finest Drake, and if you don't like him then come of my website. But With this enormous buzz, we thought that Toronto artists would use this to their advantage. We have the spotlight pointed in our direction, and every chance he (Drake) gets, he talks about T.O. why arn't we doing anything? Why have i not seen, "Who is this other star coming out of Toronto?" We have an unlocked door, someone else needs to step up and open it, we could run Hip-Hop... think about it.
Well a Birthday girft i seemed to have gotten today was being able to sit down with James Pew a musician who works at a Recording Studio named "Euphonic Sounds". You know i've been looking for a new home, and i might have found it here. Place is amazing, rates are excellent and you need to find out about this program they have called "Studio 2.0", some intelligent stuff for any Indie artist.
